1 | The service and your agreement
These Terms govern your use of the AIDENTITÉ application and https://www.aidentite.app, operated by ASTROS VALENTES, LDA, Startupleiria, Rua da Carvalha, nº 570, 2400-441 Leiria, Portugal; NIF 518816320; VAT PT518816320. General enquiries: info@aidentite.app. Support: support@aidentite.app.
By accepting these Terms when registering, you agree to them. You must be at least 18 to use the application. Our Privacy Policy explains data processing. Optional analytics is described in our Privacy Policy and is not a condition of using the app.
2 | Free test version
The current test version is provided without an AIDENTITÉ subscription fee. It does not automatically convert into a paid subscription. Any future paid offering will have its price and payment terms presented separately and will require your express agreement before you are charged. Prices charged by independent clothing retailers are separate.
Test features may contain errors, be unavailable at times or change as the service develops. We will provide any notices, remedies and opportunities to end the service required by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms removes mandatory consumer rights because the service is free or described as a test version.
3 | What AIDENTITÉ does
AIDENTITÉ provides AI-generated styling suggestions, colour-palette and body-shape analysis, processed portraits, virtual try-on images and links to clothing products. Virtual try-on produces illustrative images, not a three-dimensional body model or a guarantee of actual garment fit.
AI results may be inaccurate. Check garment measurements, materials, colour, availability and prices with the retailer before buying. The service does not provide medical advice, health assessments, identity verification or professional psychological assessments.
4 | Your account and photographs
Provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in credentials and one-time codes secure. Do not let another person use your account to bypass the age limit. Contact support@aidentite.app if you suspect unauthorised access.
Upload only photographs of yourself. Do not upload photographs of other people, including children. Do not upload unlawful content or material that infringes another person’s rights. We may remove content that violates this section.
5 | Permitted use
You may use the application for your personal styling needs. Do not use it to harass or impersonate someone, create deceptive or abusive images, infringe intellectual-property rights, disrupt the service, gain unauthorised access or bypass security controls. Restrictions do not override rights that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.
6 | Your content and generated images
You retain any rights you hold in your uploaded content. You give us a non-exclusive permission to host, copy, transmit and process that content, and to engage our service providers to do so, only as necessary to provide the functions you request. This permission is limited to that purpose and the retention described in the Privacy Policy; it does not grant an unrestricted right to use your photographs in advertising or model training.
You retain any rights you have in generated styling images, subject to applicable law and third-party rights. AI results may resemble other outputs, and copyright protection or exclusivity cannot be guaranteed. These Terms do not transfer rights in retailer photographs, product designs or other third-party materials.
7 | Independent retailers
AIDENTITÉ is not the seller of products shown through its recommendations. Clicking a product link takes you to an independent retailer. Any purchase contract is with that retailer; its payment, delivery, return and refund terms apply. Direct questions about an order to the retailer. This does not limit any responsibility AIDENTITÉ has under applicable law for its own service or statements.
The current version does not track your purchases for affiliate commissions. Any future introduction of affiliate arrangements will be accompanied by appropriate disclosures and privacy updates before the relevant processing begins.
8 | Intellectual property and trademarks
AIDENTITÉ, the AIDENTITÉ logo and related names, designs and software are owned by ASTROS VALENTES, LDA or its licensors. AIDENTITÉ is protected, among others, by EU trade mark no. 019207364. These Terms give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for its intended purpose. Except as permitted by applicable law or by us in writing, you may not copy, reverse-engineer, scrape or resell the service, or use our trademarks beyond what is necessary for lawful reference to the service. Retailer names, product images and trademarks shown in the service belong to their owners and do not imply endorsement.
9 | Ending use and account restrictions
You may stop using the service at any time. Contact support@aidentite.app for account closure, deletion or a copy of your data; these requests are handled manually. Accounts are deleted after 12 consecutive months without sign-in, with prior email notice, as described in the Privacy Policy.
We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address a material breach of these Terms, a security incident, unlawful use or ineligibility. Where appropriate and legally permitted, we explain the reason and offer an opportunity to resolve the issue. You may contact support@aidentite.app to challenge a restriction.
10 | Responsibility and consumer rights
We provide the service with the care and skill required by applicable law. Recommendations and generated images may be inaccurate, and features may sometimes be unavailable. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or your mandatory consumer rights and remedies, including under Portuguese Law 24/96 of 31 July and the rules for digital content and services in Decree-Law 84/2021 of 18 October, where applicable.
11 | Changes
We may update these Terms for changes to the service or legal requirements. We will give appropriate notice of material changes and obtain renewed agreement where required. Changes do not apply retroactively to remove accrued rights.
12 | Governing law, complaints and disputes
Portuguese law governs these Terms, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections available under the law applicable to them. If you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence where applicable law provides that right.
To make a complaint, write to support@aidentite.app. This does not restrict your right to use any competent court, authority or consumer-dispute resolution procedure available under applicable law.
For consumer disputes within its jurisdiction, you may contact CNIACC — Centro Nacional de Informação e Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo (www.cniacc.pt), whose territorial coverage includes Leiria. The competent body and availability of mediation or arbitration depend on the dispute and applicable law, including Law 144/2015 of 8 September, as amended. This information does not constitute a voluntary agreement by AIDENTITÉ to submit every dispute to arbitration and does not limit any mandatory arbitration rights or your right to go to court.
